Who we are

Little Pond is a community-based space for reflection, creativity, and inner alignment.

Within this space, we explore purpose — not as something defined by external standards, but as something discovered through self-inquiry, presence, and deeper connection to what feels true.

Our work is grounded in the belief that meaningful fulfillment comes from understanding oneself more clearly, rather than simply meeting society’s expectations.

We offer both group experiences for collective creative expression, as well as individualized coaching to support deeper inner development and personal clarity.

Meet Our Team

Shali Wan

Founder | Brand Director

My work at Little Pond is to hold the space—a capacity built on three pillars:

  • Structure: My background in Corporate Advisory provides the systems thinking and psychological safety needed to ensure our experiences are grounded, trustworthy, and applicable to real life.

  • Inquiry: As a Spiritual Coach, I use symbolic tools like Tarot not for prediction, but as a language for self-awareness and internal alignment.

  • Reflection: My training in Playback Theater allows me to mirror lived experiences with deep empathy, ensuring that every story is witnessed and integrated with care.

My path into this work grew out of years in high-pressure, high-responsibility environments, where I witness how people often lack space to pause, integrate, and reconnect with their own internal clarity.

For me, Little Pond represents an ecosystem—a living, breathing philosophy rooted in Eastern aesthetics. It represents a delicate balance: vibrant yet still, communal yet deeply private. I invite you to return to your life with a renewed sense of clarity and intentional direction.

Xinlu Chen

Co-founder | Visual Director

I am an industrial designer trained at Parsons School of Design, with a long-standing interest in the relationship between material, space, and emotional experience. My work explores how design and creativity can serve as gentle tools for reflection, grounding, and inner support.

At Little Pond, I lead the visual direction and curate hands-on creative workshops that bring together craft, presence, and collective expression—creating space for people to slow down, reconnect, and realign with what feels true.

I also host Lure.Studio, a crystal-based creative practice offering DIY workshops and personalized pieces. Through making, I invite participants to explore intention, symbolism, and self-expression in a tangible way.

I believe creativity is more than aesthetics—it is a way of returning to oneself, especially within the pace of life in a new or unfamiliar environment.

For me, Little Pond is where reflection, creativity, and belonging meet. I look forward to welcoming you into this shared space.
